1. Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application "DopaSpeak" ("App") and the website dopaspeak.com ("Website"), provided by:

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description
DopaSpeak is a language learning app for Android based on the Natural Decoding Method. The App provides:
- Word-by-word decoding of texts and song lyrics
- On-device AI (Google Gemma) for local language processing
- Vocabulary trainer with spaced repetition
- Support for 20+ languages
- Import of your own texts and music content
After the initial AI model download, the App functions entirely offline. An internet connection is required for fetching song lyrics.
The App also offers AI-powered pronunciation training via your device's microphone. All audio processing happens entirely on your device.
3. User Account
3.1 Registration via Web3Auth
DopaSpeak offers optional registration through the authentication service Web3Auth. You can sign in with an existing account (e.g., Google, Apple). The App can also be used without registration.
3.2 Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@scafa-investments.com. Locally stored data (learning progress, vocabulary) can be removed by uninstalling the App or clearing the App data in your device settings.
3.3 Access Responsibility
You are responsible for the security of your access credentials (e.g., your Google or Apple account). DopaSpeak is not liable for unauthorized access through your authentication account.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Subscription Plans
- Monthly subscription: $1.99 per month (EUR 1.99)
- Annual subscription: $11.99 per year (EUR 11.99, equivalent to $1.00/month)
4.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through the Google Play Store. Google's payment terms apply. DopaSpeak has no access to your payment details.
4.3 No Hidden Costs
There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no additional fees beyond the listed subscription prices.
5. Subscription Term and Cancellation
5.1 Term
Monthly subscriptions auto-renew each month; annual subscriptions auto-renew each year, unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
5.2 How to Cancel
Cancel through the Google Play Store:
- Open Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DopaSpeak → Cancel
Cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, access remains until the end of the paid period.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at info@scafa-investments.com with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you within 14 days.
7. License and Usage Rights
With an active subscription, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the App for personal purposes on your own devices.
You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App or parts thereof, except as expressly permitted by law.
8. Availability and Warranty
We strive to keep the App error-free and available at all times. Since the App operates entirely offline, availability is generally not dependent on an internet connection.
We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. The effectiveness of language learning depends on individual factors such as study time, motivation, and prior knowledge.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SCAFA INVESTMENTS LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms with reasonable notice. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. If you do not object within 30 days, the updated Terms are deemed accepted.
11. Governing Law
For consumers within the EU, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
For disputes with businesses, the exclusive venue is Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
